Church News

EXCITING AUTUMN NEWS! From September through to December we will be engaging in a whole Church discipleship adventure called Jesus Shaped People. Using the gospel of Mark, we will be exploring five key priorities that Jesus modelled during his ministry. This will be taking place during our Sunday sermons, plus there will also be the chance to join a midweek small group to engage more with each theme. See the Jesus Shaped People leaflet for more details.

WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING From September, a Weekly Prayer Meeting will be starting at St Paul’s. Tuesday mornings 9.30am - 10am. Please come along to pray for our church and our community
CHRISTMAS SERVICES Our Christmas services and events are going to be as follows this year. The Christingle service will take place on Christmas Eve at 4pm incorporating the Nativity Story, we will be making the Christingles on the day! On the first two Sundays of Advent (2nd and 9th December) we are planning to do a ‘leaflet drop’ after the morning service, taking special leaflets inviting people to our Christmas services and posting them through letter boxes in our parish—please can everyone consider doing this as a way to reach people who don’t know Jesus. On 15th December the church will be open between 2 and 4pm for Christmas Crafts, music, drinks and mince pies! Then 16th at 6pm will be our annual joint Carol Service with the New Testament Church of God. Our Midnight Holy Communion on Christmas Eve is also being reintroduced. So exciting Stuff!! Please tell your friends and start thinking about who you could invite!
